Strictly come dancing dinner dance 2013

Just to say a huge thank you for those who braved the cold weather on Saturday 23 March 2013 to come along and support Woodlands Hospice at Strictly Come Dancing Dinner Dance.  Guests came from as far as the Isle of Man and Blackburn and Oldham and all areas of Liverpool.  Arlene Phillips CBE even tweeted well done to the 3 finalists who got through to the final.  Tony Greenwoods Big Band really enjoyed the night and hoped that we raised lots of money for Woodlands Hospice. Once again a big thank you to Jason & Sheymane Parkinson for supporting my event and Woodlands Hospice, they work endlessly to ensure guests have a wonderful night.  Well done Dance with Passion Formation Team and Connor Parkinson & his Partner Annabelle for their performances on the night. Again thank you to everyone who came along and also to staff at the Floral Hall Southport for their help once again with all that is involved with running this charity event.  I have posted photos on Facebook and videos.  I will upload onto this site as well.

The Summer Ball for this year is on Saturday 6 July 2013 at Formby Hall Golf Club and Spa.  Tickets will be on sale in early May.  If you would like tickets please contact Neil Beadman at Woodlands Hospice on 0151 529 2640.  Flyers and menu will be available soon.

Hi It is Tuesday 19 March 2013 and we are on countdown to Strictly Come Dancing Dinner Dance in aid of Woodlands Hospice Liverpool, which is being held at the Floral Hall Southport.  It is my 5th event this year and it is proving very popular.  I would like to say thank you to everyone who is taking part as usually I do not have a chance to speak to guests before the event starts.  Once again I would like to say thank you to Jason & Sheymane Parkinson from Dance With Passion Dance School who each year make the show dances that pupils demonstrate each year.  This year we will have a latin dance demonstration by Conor Parkinson, son of Jason & Sheymane, which I will be delighted to watch as it is a while since I last saw Conor. 

Once again thank you and everyone have a lovely time dancing the night away with Tony Greenwood Big Band.

We have some lovely raffle prizes and donated time and effort for the event.  DSI for one who has once again kindly donated to this event, Formby Hall Golf Club, Mossock Hall Golf Club, Little Helpers, Arriva, Ann Jarvis, Jason & Sheymane Parkinson and their pupils.

Strictly Come Dancing Dance Competition 2013

Hello once again Strictly Come Dancing Dinner in aid of Woodlands Hospice is just around the corner.  This year there will be another dance competition taking place and we have a new trophy kindly donated to the support group.  I hope that those who are coming along will take part and have a really wonderful time.  The cup will be engraved with the winners taking part.  Last year's winners Bill and Gayna Groome will be returning again this year and perhaps they may retain their title but one never knows.  Good luck to everyone taking part so far we have over 170 people attending the event.
